Roth 401(k)

A version of the employer-sponsored 401(k) funded with after-tax dollars. Contributions do not reduce current taxable income, but qualified withdrawals in retirement are tax-free. Choosing between traditional and Roth 401(k) contributions is an important tax planning decision.
