Jorie Barbjack

Jorie Barbjack is a Client Service Associate at True Wealth Group based in Bend, Oregon. Originally from Pittsburgh, she spent much of her childhood in West Palm Beach, Florida, while visiting family in upstate New York during summers and holidays. She was drawn to Bend by its strong sense of community and the incredible access to outdoor recreation.

Before joining True Wealth Group, Jorie worked as a banker at U.S. Bank. Prior to that, she spent nearly eight years in the international yachting industry, ultimately serving as Chief Officer. During that time, she traveled extensively around the world and developed valuable experience in leadership, logistics, and delivering exceptional service in high-performance team environments.

One accomplishment Jorie is particularly proud of is earning her Officer of the Watch license for yachts under 3,000 gross tons from the Maritime Coastal Academy in the United Kingdom. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for professionalism, optimism, teamwork, and a strong problem-solving mindset. She brings a client- and team-focused approach to her work and enjoys improving processes, paying attention to details, and contributing to better outcomes.

Jorie earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from the University of North Florida. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, camping, paddle boarding, skiing, playing volleyball around town, and spending time with animals. A fun fact about Jorie is that she visited 30 countries before turning 30 during her time working in the yachting industry, so she always has travel recommendations ready to share.
